Stop monkeying around and try this banana nut spread
What you’ll need:
1 cup dried banana chips
2 cups (16 oz) honey roasted peanuts
½ tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup dark chocolate chips
What you’ll do:
1. Blend the dried banana chips in a food processor for 3-5 minutes until they turn into a dry paste.
2. Add in the honey roasted peanuts and continue to blend for another five minutes, or longer if you’d like an extra-smooth spread. Don’t worry if the peanuts turn into crumbs--after a couple of minutes, they will begin to clump then turn into a grainy paste and smoothen out. If the mixture is getting too hot, turn off your blender for a minute or so to cool it down.
3. Add the vanilla extract and blend for a few seconds until combined.
4. Spoon out half of the peanut mixture into a medium-sized bowl.
5. Add chocolate chips into the remaining mixture in the food processor, blending until combined.
6. Get two, 8-oz. mason jars and begin alternately adding in the two mixtures. Start with a layer of peanut butter mixture, then put a layer of chocolate butter mixture, and continue until your two jars are filled.
7. Dip some strawberries or graham crackers into the blend, or spread it on some bread for a yummy afternoon snack!
