The only 3 ingredients you need to make the perfect pancake

 

Ever have a craving for pancakes, but don’t have the ingredients handy or the time to make 'em? Yep, we feel ya. Luckily, there's a fast and easy way to whip up a healthy batch of pancakes with just three ingredients that you probably already have in your kitchen! Check out the recipe below.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 2 eggs (do NOT substitute egg whites…the recipe will not work!)
  • Cinnamon, to taste

Directions:

1. In a medium-sized bowl, use the back of a fork to mash the banana into a smooth paste.

2. Add in the two cracked eggs, a sprinkle of cinnamon and whisk with your fork until the ingredients are completely mixed together.

3. Scoop out approximately 1/4 of the mixture into a pan, setting the stove to medium heat.

4. Use a spatula to push the mixture into the middle of the pan, creating a circle approximately 4-5 inches in diameter.

5. Cook until the bottom is golden brown, then flip and cook until the other side is also golden brown.

6. Set the first pancake aside and repeat until all of the batter is used up.

7. Tada! Now you've got some tasty AM pancakes. Feel free to top them with anything you’d like (berries anyone? Mmm).
