Easter Recipes: Sweet Bunny Treats!

Preparing for your Easter feast but don’t have any sweet treats? We’ve got some deelish goodies for you to make during the holiday!

Marshmellow Egg-corns

An unconventional twist on an Easter staple. These yummy treats are super easy to make and did we mention, um, so good?

What You’ll Need:
9 cups of popped popcorn (not too buttery)
1 bag of 10 oz big marshmallows
1/4 cup butter

Directions:
1. Put the popcorn into a big bowl.
2. Melt marshmallow and butter in saucepan.
3. When melted, pour the marshmallow and butter mix into popcorn bowl and evenly coat with a wooden spoon.
4. Grease hands with butter and shape the mixture into the shape of an egg.
5. Set them down on cookie sheet or cooling rack and let them harden.

For “dyed” eggs, add food coloring into the marshmallow and butter mixture.

Bunny Brownies
Create your own Easter landscape, and eat it! This snack doesn’t only taste good, but looks super cute, too.

What You’ll Need:
A box of brownie mix
  Plastic baggie
1 cup shredded coconut
Green food coloring
Wax paper
Jelly Beans
Peeps

What You’ll Do:
1. Before you start making the brownies, pour the shredded coconut into a plastic baggie. Then pour 1 tablespoon of green food coloring inside the baggie and close it tight.
2. Shake the baggie until all of the coconut absorbs an even green color.
3. Pour the shredded coconut out of the baggie and onto the wax paper. Lay out the coconut evenly and allow it to dry for an hour.
4. While waiting for the coconut to dry, bake the brownies by following the directions on the box. Take the brownies out of the oven 10 minutes earlier than suggested on the box.
5. Once the coconut has dried, sprinkle the coconut on top of the brownies and let it bake in the oven for 10 minutes.
6. Once the brownies are done, let them cool for about 5 minutes.
7. Finish it off by putting some jelly beans and/or a Peeps on top of the brownies.
