MAKE IT CUTE

Wacky water park party
You’re invited
If you’re looking to throw an easy co-ed party, we’re thinkin’ this plan is totally bank. Competitive games will keep everybody having fun…and who doesn’t like to throw a water balloon at the class cutie? Simple invites on ocean-blue paper will work wonders. Cut out a few circles in different shades of blue, then glue together to form water bubbles. Or, cut out the shape of a wave. Write out the pertinent deets in silver Sharpie and send ‘em off.
Don’t forget…
Make sure to have each guest bring his or her own towel, sunscreen and a change of clothes. Shoes that can get wet are a nice addition if you’ll be runnin’ all over the place.
Frozen treats
For a reverse party favor, ask your guests to bring a box of their favorite frozen goodies. We’re thinking ice pops, rocket popsicles, Klondike bars and ice cream sandwiches. Have a cooler filled with ice ready to stow your goodies for later in the afternoon. Yum!
Wet ‘n’ wild
Need an easy game you won’t get bored of? Grab some heavy-duty black trash bags, a fresh bottle of dish soap and a hose. Before your guests arrive, lay the trash bags out in a long line across your back yard. Be sure to remove wayward branches and rocks! Squirt dish soap over the length of your slip ‘n’ slide and then water it down when you’re ready to let loose. For even more fun, set up sprinklers to spray people as they slide, or station guests (or parents) with hoses.
Stick ‘em up!
Head to the dollar store and pick up enough water guns for every guest you’ve invited, plus a few more in case of surprises. Then, play a game of tag, cops ‘n’ robbers or manhunt style, or a dodgeball-type game using the water guns to tag people out instead of balls.
