Gleek-out slumber party
Can’t wait for the season finale of Glee? Neither can we! Go Gleek this weekend with your besties and get psyched for New Directions’ trip to nationals. New York City, here we come!
Invite your crew
Can’t stop humming your favorite tunes? Put ‘em down on paper! Use cardstock to create music-note invites. Bedazzle one side, and write the party details—who, what, where and when—on the other in a metallic Sharpie pen.
Feed the crowd
You could go with totally classic cafeteria food (think chicken nuggets and mac ‘n’ cheese), but we’re leaning toward our characters’ favorite bites. Tater tots make tasty appetizers, while vanilla cupcakes (with bake sale red frosting, of course) are a sweet treat for later in the night. Slushies will keep you hydrated…but let’s not throw them in each other’s faces, okay?
Dress up
Why not attend the party as your favorite character? Check out our how-to guides for dressing like Rachel, Quinn and Brittany. Remember: Looking the part is only half the battle. It’s time to really step inside the shoes of New Directions!
Diva off!
It’s time to pick your song and square off, sweeties! Choose a track that girls (or guys) have belted out on Glee and then take turns singing your heart out. Vote on the best voice, song choice and dance moves, then crown the ultimate diva.
Tune in
Just when you’re ready to tuck yourselves into your sleeping bags and call it a night, pop in a disc of season one (available streaming on Netflix right now) and watch the series from the beginning, or go for the highlight reel that is Glee Encore. Don’t be afraid to sing along!
