Amp up your old jeans with this easy DIY

Cuffed denim is having a major moment. Fashion It-girls have been rocking their skinnies and boyfriends fifties-style, adding a cute and playful twist to the classic silhouette. Want to make it even more fun? Edge things up a bit with a look that's totally stud-ly.

What you need:

  • Any pair of jeans
  • Studs (Make sure they are the kind with prongs on the back—you can find them at many craft stores or online.)
  • A pair of pliers

Directions:

Step 1: Roll up jeans to your desired cuff thickness.

Step 2: Push the prongs of the stud through the cuff (but not all the way through the jeans).

Step 3: Use pliers to fold the prongs down and secure the stud.

Step 4: Place studs in even rows until you have covered your desired amount of cuff.

Step 5: Repeat on other leg, and look fabulous!

What do you think of this DIY? How do you amp up old clothes?
