How to bedazzle your beanie
Tis' the season to wear beanies! Winter puffer coats and snow boots can leave you feeling frumpy during the chillier months so why not add a little bit bling to your look with a bejeweled beanie? This accessory will keep you feeling cozy, snug and on trend. Here’s a simple step-by-step list of what you’ll need to bedazzle it.
Materials:
- Your fave beanie
- Needle and thread
- Broken jewelry
- Pliers
Directions:
1. First, select your favorite piece of broken jewelry, and cut off any excess chain hanging from its sides with pliers.
2. Next, place the jewels where you think look best on the beanie. Usually, they look best in the center, as pictured above.
3. Then thread your needle, and carefully begin sewing the jewelry onto the beanie, making sure the stitching is secure.
4. When you are finished threading, tie off the thread securely to assure the jewels don’t fall off. And there you have it...your very own personalized beanie!
