Fun ways to use nail polish--not on your nails

We can’t help but be drawn to those tiny glass bottles of bright hues and shimmering shades. We buy ‘em, use ‘em and then put ‘em away as soon as we’re done, but all those options can start to add up at $4-$15 a piece. How can we get more bang for our buck? We’ll show you our fave and most creative ways to use polish on something other than your pretty paws.

    Sole art

Our first craft channels one of the world’s most fab designers, Christian Louboutin. Pick a super opaque polish and find a high-heeled shoe you wanna spice up. Add masking tape around the edges and lay some paper down first before you get out your brush. Once the first coat has dried, add another. Don’t be afraid to add on any design you like!

    Polished gems

OK, we have the best idea ever to revamp overused pieces to make them seem brand new. Grab your fave neon polish and a necklace or any statement jewelry you want to make over. Simply paint over the colored parts and your jewelry is as good as a new! You can even get a little more creative and find a stencil to make tiny designs or write out your name for a look that’s even more you.

    Color-coordinated keys

Don’t ya hate when you get your keys mixed up because they all look the same? Give these babies some color make them easier to find. Color code by building or car and add some designs. You could even step things up with a matte polish or your fave crackle topcoat.
