Stay Pretty for a Day in the Sun

A girl needs more than a ginormous hat and serious sunnies to look gorgeously glossed by the pool or at the shore. We’ve scoured the shores for the coolest goodies to keep ya feeling glam on a sun--and surf--soaked day.
Yummy Sips
Take a break from soda and slushies to hydrate the healthy way. We’re digging H20 that’s kissed with a bit of flavor—but still zero calories or artificial sweeteners. How refreshing!

Hint Water, $2, Whole Foods

A Goodie Bag
Oh man. Between sunscreen, hair ties, a comb and all the other girly goods ya need to survive a day outside, a bold beauty bag is a must for staying organized. This lime Lilly number will stand out in your oversized tote—great for when ya gotta reapply SPF, like, NOW! Psst: We still pack our spillages in Ziploc baggies first to avoid icky spills.

Brilliant Balm
Our new have lip balm is organic (heart that!) and comes in pretty, summery shades. The best part? It’s not sticky at all and has just the right amount of shimmer. Swoon.

A Chic Sarong
Sick of throwing a tee and shorts of your bikini? Step up the style with an exotic-feeling sarong. You can tie it a million different ways or even throw it over your shoulders to keep the sun off your back.

Haute Hair Elastics
Long locks can go from pretty to a total pain once they get wet or (eep!) sweaty. Upgrade from your standard black elastics to metallic ties. They’ll add oomph to your ‘do—even if it’s the same style you’ve been sportin’ since May.

Sweet Fruits
Downing a bag of chips can make you feel bloated in your bikini. Before you head out, pack a few pieces of fruit or a small fruit salad in your bag. Right now, we’re seriously craving peaches, strawberries and pineapple. Ahhh!
