I am into dating but all my closest friends are against it. I know girls should always come before guys, but I really want to tell a guy I like him and I'm afraid of disapproval from my friends.

Now I really like this boy and he might ask me out. I know I shouldn't be afraid of my friends judgment, but I don't know what to do?!

If a boy asks you out and you want to be his GF, go for it. You just might be ahead of your friends in the boys department. So don’t wait around for your friends to start dating, too.

But, you do have to make an extra effort with your friends if you have a BF. Explain to them why you want to go out with your crush and make sure you don’t completely blow them off to spend time with your new guy. They won’t appreciate that you are ditching them for boys when they don’t approve of them in the first place. Spend plenty of time with them and don’t always talk about your dude. Friends come first! They’ll be the ones that will be there for you when the boys are gone.
