He KNOWS I Exist But...
So I've liked this guy for over a year, but he's two years older than me. He is also very popular and friends with my brother. I think about him all the time! I want to be able to talk to him without him thinking I'm weird.
He knows I exist because I see him a lot during hockey season and he's held doors open for me (I am never going to forget it!) And, I am sure I make it obvious when he comes out of the locker room (we both play hockey) because I stare at him and stand by the doors. This is complicated! I just am wondering how I can just talk to him without him thinking I'm a freak.

Most people don't automatically assume you are a freak if you talk to them. The staring might freak him out a little though. Talk to him at hockey practice or if he's ever at your house chilling with your big bro. Choose an easy topic to talk about like well, hockey.
When the time seems right, start a conversation. Ask him to help you improve your hockey skills. Get to know him better. Don't follow him around or hang out by the locker room so much though. That might make you seem desperate. Just staring at him won't get you any closer to becoming his girlfriend.
