My boyfriend of a little over a month texted me one day saying how his parents thought we were too intense and we should break up, but he said we could still date secretly. The next day I saw his parents and they were asking if I was going to their house for homecoming pictures and that I should come over for dinner the next day... I talked to my boyfriend about it and I found out he had lied so that he could keep dating me secretly and ask out another girl, too.
