Recently, my school held an end-of-the-year dance. I was so excited to see if my crush was going to ask me to be his date—and he did! I was so happy, but then all of his friends also asked me on the same day. Thinking something was up, I asked my best guy friend what was happening. I found out that it was all a bet to see who could ask me out first and get me to say yes. I was mortified!
