My bestie's BF is a meanie

My best friend’s BF is so mean to her. He never says hi to her and he couldn’t care less about her feelings. Should I tell her to dump him or keep it to myself?
Dear Bestie,

If a friend is being abused or threatened, it’s important to speak up. Otherwise, it’s never a good idea to “tell” a friend to dump someone else, and you can’t be sure of what he’s really feeling.

 

If you decide to say something, be sure it’s because you think this situation is making your friend unhappy – not because it’s making you unhappy. Besides, many first romances evaporate all by themselves, without outside intervention.
