You Wrote It
An original poem: "Monday to Friday"
My polish is chipping
And my hair is falling down
I'm stressing out way too much
And I'm forced to learn about stupid nouns
Every morning I wake up thinking
Just how much better it would be
If we only learned the things that we need
I wish there wasn't so much pressure to just be me
I'm stressing out as the new year dawns
There's too many things going on
Not only is grammar way too much
But no one talks to me when I'm at lunch
Now it is the weekend
I'm so glad for the break, I confess
I really need some time for me
And some time to clean up all the mess
Despite all the stress going on
I still see Monday as a new day
And time to move on
