One thing's for sure: Singer/actress/model/dancer/former GL cover star Pressley Hosbach fully understands the summer crush. 

Her newest single "COOL"—which dropped today—totally captures the fun, flirtiness and (sometimes) frustration of catching feels during sunny szn. For all the girlies who find themselves swooning when they least expect it, do yourself a favor and add this bop to your playlist. You can thank us later!

But the song's ultra-relatable lyrics are only one reason why we've got it on constant repeat. Read on to find out why we're already obsessed with "COOL" (and peep the all-new music vid below!).

1. The impeccable vacay vibes

Cute crochet tanks, gossiping poolside with your besties, dancing under the moonlight—this is what summer (and, not-so-coincidentally, the music video for "COOL") is made of. The atmosphere of Pressley's new vid is practically a Pinterest board for the best summer ever. The light-up basketball hoop, the lush palm plants, the moody blue glow on the water—it gives well, straight-up Cali ~cool~. 

And a quick rule of thumb: If everyone in your squad ends up leaping into the water fully-clothed, it's a sing you've achieved the ultimate carefree summer vibe. Core memories = made. 

2. The catchy chorus

Sonically speaking, "COOL" has the kind of hook that's going to be in our heads for the rest of June...and July...and August. Hard to resist head-bobbing along to the groovy, beat-driven verses and even harder to resist belting the chorus (catch us "ooo"-ing along with Pressley). Infectious melodies? Check. Slick synthy sound? Check. Vocals on point? Check.

3. The epic choreo

It's no shock to us that the dancing queen herself incorporated her signature moves into the video for "COOL". Let's just say there's more than one dance break happening onscreen—and we're so here for it. 

Donning glam eye gems and an adorbs athleisure set, Pressley (with the help of her girls, ofc) makes even popstar-level choreography seem soooo effortless. Our weekend plans? Trying to ace this dance with our besties.
