Ariana! BTS! Billie! 5 reasons to watch the 2020 Grammy Awards on Sunday

Music's biggest night is always, well, big, but the 2020 Grammy Awards (airing live on Sunday, January 26 at 8 p.m. on CBS) are shaping up to be the *craziest* ever. Here are five reasons we'll be plopped on the couch fighting our little brother for the remote:

1. New celeb connections are bound to pop up

Ariana Grande and BTS already pretty much broke Insta for hanging out at Grammy rehearsals, and there will be plenty more interactions on show night.

2. Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes are going to wear what?!
You heard it here first: If Camila and Shawn win the Grammy for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, they're celebrating in an unexpected way: "If Shawn and I win, we will walk onstage in our underwear like Twenty One Pilots did—that's a promise," Camila joked in the video below. "Just kidding. It's not [our plan]. I gotta work out before I do that."

3. "Old Town Road" is getting another makeover
This bop absolutely defined the past year, and the countless remixes gave it new life each time. Now, the Grammys will pay tribute to all of that with a special performance. "'Old Town Road All-Stars' will feature current nominees Billy Ray Cyrus and Lil Nas X  joined by BTSDiplo, Mason Ramsey, and other surprise guests." according to the Grammy website. "Over the past year, 'Old Town Road' has been the subject of numerous mixes and mashups, which inspired bringing together a number of acts who have performed it, making it a one-of-a-kind performance." How cool is that?!

4. There are a bunch of crazy-tight races
With so much talent packed into one room, every category is absolutely stacked. Take Best Pop Vocal Album for example—Beyonce (The Lion King: The Gift), Billie Eilish (When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?), Ariana Grande (Thank U, Next), Ed Sheeran (No. 6 Collaborations Project) and Taylor Swift (Lover) will all by vying for the same prize. Ugh, we're glad we don't have to vote!

5. The Jonas Brothers promise a big surprise
It's been the year of the comeback for the JoBros, and they promise that their Grammy performance will not disappoint. After dropping new single "What a Man Gotta Do" recently, they're ready to take the stage in an exciting way. "We have a very special performance lined up," Nick told Ellen DeGeneres. "We don't want to give anything away, but we're playing the new song that just came out, and then we're doing something else which I don't think anyone's going to expect."

Who are you most excited to see on the Grammys? Let us know in the comments!
