The 56th Grammy Awards: Did you watch?

Last nights award ceremony was all about the old and the new. Celebs of all ages came together to celebrate the ears’ greatest pleasure: music! With notable performances by Hunter Hayes, Katy Perry and Daft Punk, and a total of thirty-three couples tying the knot, this award show will go down in history as one of the best yet.

The ever-so-talented Beyoncé opened the show with her performance of “Drunk in Love,” followed by an appearance from her equally talented hubby Jay Z. The power couple’s performance was nothing short of swag-tastic and totally set the tone for the evening.

Lorde, one of our faves, blew us away with her performance of “Royals,” and walked away with two Grammys! One for “Best Pop Solo Performance,” and the other for “Song of the Year.” This 17-year-old songstress has truly taken the pop world by storm, and we predict big things in her future.

See her performance below…

Taylor Swift graced us with her undeniably sweet dance moves when Kendrick Lamar and Imagine Dragons took to the stage. Their super sick mash-up encouraged Taylor to switch out her pumps for a pair of dancing shoes. Like the rest of us watching, she was feelin’ the beat, no doubt.

Overall, some of the hottest celebs walked away with Grammys galore. Daft Punk, however, scored the top honor of the night: “Album of the Year.” The French “Robots” walked away with four awards, as did Pharrell Williams and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.

Did you miss the show? No worries, babes! We’ve compiled a list of winners, and even threw in whom we were rooting for.
