6 awkward Mom moments from our favorite shows and flicks

We love our moms… most of the time. They’re always there to talk, and who doesn’t love a mother-daughter trip to the mall? But around our friends? Sometimes Moms just don’t seem to get it. Check out these OMG-worthy Mom moments from a few of our fave movies and TV shows. We sure hope none of these happen to you!
Mean Girls

Regina George’s mom in Mean Girls is certainly out there. Videotaping the girls’ holiday concert dance was one thing, but this mom even danced in the aisle.

Lizzie McGuire

Sometimes it’s hard to ask Mom, ya know, personal Qs. But remember when Lizzie’s mom just wasn’t getting the hint that she and Miranda wanted a bra? Lizzie’s exclamation in this Mom moment is embarrassing for everyone involved.

iCarly

Freddie’s lucky to have cool friends like Carly and Sam, but his mom always gives them another reason to laugh at him—like that time she interrupted the show to make Freddy finish some asparagus? And then she had to sing about it! Hey, some issues should be dealt with at home.

She’s the Man

Viola wants so play soccer, not dress up. But her mom is way more into proper pageants than scoring goals. This mom’s princess pushiness is definitely laugh-worthy.

Modern Family

Alex and Haley’s mom definitely tries her best with her kids’ sibling rivalry. And normally their dad brings enough parental embarrassment to the table. But like any mom during prom season, she gets excited with the camera and tends to say just the wrong thing.

The Art of Getting By

Sally’s mom wears her pajamas in the middle of the day and gets pretty nosey when it comes to her daughter’s relationships. Sometimes too talkative means too talkative. Like the time she tries giving Sally dating advice.
