Ahhh, springtime. When the
birds are chirping and the flowers are budding. Not to mention, hello, shorts
season! Now that Earth Day is almost here, we’re loving on nature a little
extra at the moment. Check out the awesome music vids below if you’re looking
for yet another reason to heart good ol’ Mama Earth.
Mumford and Sons, “The Cave”
As the members of the band
ride through the countryside on rickety mopeds, a group of men play guitar on
the beach. Mumford and Sons ride their bikes through the countryside as flowers
bloom alongside the road and waves crash serenely in the background. Pure
bliss!
One Direction, “Live While We’re Young”
These crazy boys always have
such fun music videos, but we heart this one especially because it takes place
on a campground. The 1D dudes get up to all sorts of trouble in the great
outdoors: running around in fields, jumping off rope swings and driving like
madmen down old dirt roads.
San Cisco, “Beach”
The members of this laid-back
Aussie band spend the day messing around in a sleepy beach town. We love the
part when the waves crash on the Australian beach with surfers in the water.
The band members run around, throwing rocks in the water and playing in the
sand.
Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, “Home”
This music vid feels like
we’re watching old home movies with the fam. The warm and summery footage
follows the band around in nature—from mountaintops to the desert—as they play
their instruments and sing.
The Maccabees, “Ayla”
This super serene video is
simple, but still totally stunning. A man rides through a mountainous biking
trail surrounded by plush trees and the sun streaming through the branches.
It’s oh-so-relaxing!
Beirut, “The Ripe Tide”
Ever watched the sunset
while out at sea? This music vid will get you close enough. The tunes swell as
a sailboat rides the waves during a picturesque end of day. Seagulls soar
through the air as the boat drifts off to sea. Hook us up with a ticket to that
serene setting, please.
