If you're a fan of the popular NBC Emmy-award winning drama series This is Us then you *def* need to know Faithe Herman. Faithe plays Annie on the show and is a force to be reckoned with IRL.

We were so happy to chat with her about her character, inspiration and advice for other aspiring actors out there! 

GL: Tell us about your character on This is Us.

Faithe: I play Annie Pearson and she's the youngest of Beth and Randall. She's very fashionable, outgoing and fun!

GL: How do you relate to Annie?

Faithe: We both have pretty good fashion taste, and I'm getting better at my own fashion. She also has a fun and silly personality, everything she wears is fun!

GL: What's your favorite outfit to wear?

Faithe: I get outfit inspiration from my sister because she's very good at it. The other day I wore a collared shirt with a vest and some flare jeans and Converse.

GL: What are 3 tips you can give GL readers about acting at a young age?

Faithe: Have patience, don't give up and believe in yourself.

GL: How do you get into your character?

Faithe: I get into my character by preparing my lines with my mom or my dad. I also like to read over information so I know what's going on in the episode.

GL: Who are your role models in the acting world?

Faithe: I look up to Zendaya and Yara Shahidi in the acting world.

GL: Who are your role models in your life?

Faithe: In my life, my role models are my mom and my dad because they're always so supportive and there for me to take me on my auditions and onto the set. 

GL: How would you describe your personality?

Faithe: I'd say I'm caring for others and that I'm silly because once you get to know me I can be very funny.

GL: What's your dream future project?

Faithe: I really want to work with Zendaya and Will Smith. I also want to be in a comedy because trying something different would be really cool.

GL: How do you hope to inspire other people in your life?

Faithe: I hope that I'm a good role model for others and that people can learn from me because I look up to a lot of people in life so I just hope that other people take that from me. 

GL: What advice do you have for GL readers?

Faithe: Believe in yourself, reach for your dreams and always try to be a good role model for others.
