This morning, E! announced the nominees for all categories for the People's Choice Awards. In the pop culture category for The Social Media Star of 2020, they have nominated 8 influencers (most of whom you're going to know): Addison Rae, Charli D'Amelio, David Dobrik, Dixie D'Amelio, Emma Chamberlain, Loren Gray, Jojo Siwa and Liza Koshy. 

All of these influencers have accomplished amazing things this past year with Emma Chamberlain winning Best Podcaster for her podcast Stupid Genius at the Shorty Awards and Liza Koshy co-starring in the Netflix movie Work It.

David Dobrik has been named "Gen Z's Jimmy Fallon" by The Wall Street Journal, and as we all know, Charli and Dixie have been jumping from milestone to milestone this year.  

Loren Gray has been working on transitioning to music. She released her new single "Cake" on May and was featured in the music video for Taylor Swift's "The Man."
