Ah, February. New York Fashion Week brought us spring lewk after lewk, getting us psyched for sunny days and chic streetwear. Alas, just a few weeks later, we're stuck inside due to the coronavirus pandemic—but being stuck doesn't mean style goes out the window. 

Here are some runway-inspired looks to rock this season, even if you're just posing in your bathroom mirror, making tons of TikToks and FaceTiming your crew. After all, if your post goes viral, you better be setting a trend!

Boyfriend blazer

With a straight silhouette, a jacket like this one from Urban Outfitters can be made casual with form fitting jeans and a crop top. Or, rock it all the way to the kitchen to get a snack—paired with slacks and a subtle heel. After all, they say dress for success, no matter the situation.

Cardigans

It's super cozy and light for those chilly nights when you're walking your dog around the neighborhood (we can still do that, right?). Whether your prefer your top cropped like this one or regular-sized, the cardigan can truly compliment anything from joggers to jean shorts.

Oversized handbags

We are super psyched about this one. This jelly bag from Nordstrom is the perfect catch-all accessory. It goes with pretty much any outfit and it'll have you dragging your laptop, charger, notebooks and everything else from your bed to kitchen table in style.

Polka dots

This fun and uplifting patterned jumpsuit is perfect for warmer weather, so  model it in your mirror now and save it for that (hopeful) first day out with friends, whenever it is.

Hair bows

If you aren't in the mood to pile on necklaces or wear bold earrings, add a girly and preppy bow to tie your outfit together works just as well. The pearls on this bow will make up for the lack of other jewlery. Plus, it's a super studious look for your video study seshes! 

Any non-skinny jean

Don't get us wrong, a good skinny jean is still a staple. But this year we are embracing all the shapes and sizes of denim: the mom jean, bootcut, high-rise and straight-legged. Puffy sleeves

Feel like the princess you are with exaggerated sleeves on your sheer tops or flowy dresses. This is a go-to for Easter or Mother's Day with the fam—who says you shouldn't dress to impress the people who see you every day?

Leather 

Set aside your leather jacket, and start looking for leather skirts, boots and crops tops. This material will add contrast in textures and style if paired with softer elements like silk or velvet. Pleats 

Another trend that automatically jazzes up your look by adding care-free movement to dresses or interesting stitching on pants. This pleated dress from Forever 21 nails the combo of being both structured and breathable—so cute.
