Priceless things you forget to thank your BFF for
Best friends are the special people who know us the best and are truly responsible for making our lives worth living. Not only are they always up for fun experiences but they are always there for us when we need them the most. So, the next time you see your BFF, thank her for *all* the wonderful things she does for you.
Thank you for being completely honest with me—even when I'm not in the mood to hear it.
Best friends are there to call you out on whatever is needed, and since its coming from your BFF it makes it just a little more bearable. Your best friend doesn't hesitate to tell you when you're acting insane or behaving in a rude or inconsiderate way. The people who love you the most are the ones who won't let you get away with anything. Don't forget that.
Thank you for my laughter six-pack.
When you're with your bestie, the laughter is endless, and sometimes (if not always) causes physical pain. One intense LOL sesh later and it feels like you've just completed a 30-minute ab workout.
Thank you for being just as weird as I am...and absolutely loving it.
You two wouldn't be best friends if you weren't the right amount of weird for each other. Your bestie is someone you can drive around with and sing every song at the top of your lungs and not give a care in the world if the other cars see you.
Thank you for forgiving me and being patient when we argue.
Arguments happen in any relationship. You both might need some time to cool off, but at the end of the day you wouldn't want to be fighting with anyone else. You know that no matter what, your best friend will forgive you, and you will forgive them.
Thank you for making my birthday such a big deal.
As we get older, birthdays start to feel less important, but not with your best friend. She makes your birthday feel like a national holiday for an entire week, topped off with countless Insta and Twitter posts.
Thank you for telling me when my hair looks good/bad.
If it weren't for best friends, we wouldn't know when that middle part just isn't working for us. You can always rely on them because they will never give you anything less than an honest answer.
Thank you for liking the same television shows as me.
As soon as you realized they liked the same shows as you do, you knew you would be friends for life. Where would you be without getting to endlessly converse over every season finale of Riverdale with them? How could you go on not knowing if they weren't as obsessed with Friends as you are?
Thank you for sincerely loving me, and considering me your family.
A best friend loves you for you, and nothing else. You've gotten so close that her family knows you well, and you can walk into their house without ringing a doorbell and no one would bat an eye. Getting to attend her family dinners and even vacation with them are just some of the many perks of having a BFFL.
Thank you for being there for me when I need you the most, even if it's not at the most convenient time.
Having someone to pick up your Facetime at 2 a.m. when you're sobbing over your boy troubles is someone you would never want to lose. Your best friend always takes a break from their hectic life to make sure you're okay. With them, you'll always have a shoulder to cry on.
Thank you for being happy for me when things are going right in my life.
Your best friend is always the first one ready to celebrate when things in your life are going great. They're never jealous or envious of the things you've worked hard for. In fact, sometimes it's like they're more excited for you than yourself.
Last but not least, thank you for being YOU.
