How to show your appreciation for your dad this Father's Day

With Father's Day right around the corner, you'll want to do something special to show your dad just how grateful you are for him. After all, he does have to put up with your crazy moods, sass and sometimes *not so* pleasant behavior.

1. Take him out to his favorite restaurant
Treating your dad to a nice meal at his favorite restaurant is one of the best ways to show him just how much you care. This Father's Day, let him pick whatever he wants from the menu, ensuring that he also orders dessert! On this special day, the price and the calories don't count.

2. Spend some time outdoors
We're all guilty of spending too much time inside, so this Father's Day spend some quality bonding time with your dad outside, detached from your phone. You can find a nice trail to hike wih him, take him fishing, go on a scenic bike ride or simply enjoy a leisurely stroll with him. Spending some time in nature, separated from technology will help you reconnect with your dad so that you can give him your full attention without having to worry about any distractions.

3. Get him some nice cologne
Smelling nice never goes out of style. It's one of those underrated compliments that makes you feel good about yourself, and your dad is no exception. So this Father's Day, get him a cologne that's not too overpowering and leaves him smelling amazing. He'll remember your thoughtfulness and love with every spray of the bottle.

4. Take a trip to the beach
Who doesn't love the beach? The crashing of the waves, the sqauking of the seagulls, the salty air and the beautiful sunset are the perfect environment to show your dad just how much you love him. Let him relax in the sand and enjoy a nice read while he gets his tan on or if he's more athletic, catch some waves or play a fun game of volleyball. Even better? It's completely free!

5. Photo Collage
This Father's Day, let your creative side shine by making a photo collage of all of your favorite times with your dad. Not only is this an afforable gift, but it's also an extremely heart-warming and original one as well (you can be sure that no one else will have the same gift as you). You and your dad can recount on all of the amazing memories that you've had together and look forward to the ones that you'll make in the future.
