Nutritious Breakfast Ideas

Halloween is right around the corner, which means (eek!) piles of candy everywhere ya look. Should ya happen to down too many sweets, start the next day off right with an ultra-nutritious breakfast.

Chef Eda Vesterman MS, who focuses on healthy cooking, recommends sautéing some veggies (we like peppers, onions, mushrooms or tomatoes) and pouring two egg whites over them in the pan. Scramble them up until they’re cooked through, and add salt and pepper. Serve them up with a slice of whole-wheat toast and a bit of salsa. Yum!
