Your Bod

Do I have to wear a bra all the time?

Everybody says that if you don't wear a bra then your boobs start to sag, or you'll get breast cancer or you'll get stretch marks. But I just feel super uncomfortable when I wear one. Am I OK if I don't wear one all the time?

To bra or not to bra? That is the question we ask ourselves daily. But know that wearing a bra at any stage of development or age is a personal decision.

If you're starting to develop breasts and you want to wear a bra, you may want to talk to your mom, friends, or relative about possibly getting one. Some girls like to get training bras as soon as they start developing breasts so they can get used to what it feels like to wear a bra. A training bra can also help to cover up your nipples, which may stick out and become more noticeable as your breasts begin to grow.

We all have a choice, though. It's just a matter of what your comfortable with and growing to love and appreciate your body in its natural state. Because the truth is there's no scientific basis to any of the scary rumors you mentioned. A bra will not make your girls perkier nor will it prevent them from getting saggy nor do bras cause cancer or stunt breast growth.

Bottom line on your top? Bras don’t affect your breast health so do whatever makes you feel cute and body confident
