Why double dating is a *must* this fall
Double dating is *so* underrated. If you're feeling a little nervous about a first date, coupling up with your buds can be the cure. Not to mention, with all the fun activities like haunted houses, pumpkin carving and corn mazes, group dates in the fall are super fun. Beating those first-date jitters has never been easier!
It'll be way less awkward.
Let's be honest: First dates are sorta awkward, but having a friend around makes everything less nerve-wracking. Just break out some of you and your friend's funny anecdoctes—they're perfect ice-breakers, and your date will get to see your silly side.
It's generally more parent-approved.
Teenagers dating makes for some nervous parents, so ease their stress by taking along a friend. Your parents will give you more freedom if you're with someone they know, and your friend's parents will appreciate it, too.
It's easier to be yourself when your gal is around.
Your friends know you best because you open up around them. Being around someone you're comfortable with while meeting someone new boosts your confidence. Also, the more comfortable you are, the more comfortable your date will be.
It's more fun.
Double dates feel more like hanging out than first dates, and they're all around a good time. You'll see how well you get along with your new sweetie, and your girl will get to know him, too. Dating someone you can laugh with is exciting, so why not just skip to the fun part?
