One day, my crush asked me to be his girlfriend. I said yes, obviously! I was waiting for the bus with some friends and my now BF was standing nearby talking to his friends. He didn’t see me, so I was walking up to surprise him when he started saying really mean things about me to his friends. He said, "She's the best I can do for a girlfriend right now. I mean, she's only a temporary thing." I was so mad! I marched over, tapped him on the shoulder and said, “We’re done! I can do way better than you.” He looked shocked.
