5 cheap dates you need to try this fall

 

Don’t fall into a rut when planning a date this season. From apple picking to making your very own scarecrows, there is so much to do with your beau in the upcoming months that won’t drain your bank account. Here are a few you two should try together.

    Head to a local orchard where they let you pick your own apples. Strolling through the trees on a crisp fall date will make for a romantic—yet delicious—date.

    Go on a hike

    With the leaves changing colors, it’s a magical time to be outside. Go to a trail or park for a stroll with your sweetie. Clutching hands while taking in the colors will feel relaxing.

    Decorate pumpkins

    Break out the craft supplies! Decorating pumpkins is the perfect way to show off your creative side. Carve out your pumpkin to create a jack-o-latern, paint a design, or glue on some googly eyes to create a masterpiece.

    Football game

    Want to show off your school spirit with your boy? Check out your football team’s big rival game. Sitting next to him when a cold breeze comes your way will provide the perfect excuse to snuggle up together during touchdowns.

    Make a scarecrow

    Round up some old clothes, rubber bands, a pumpkin, and some hay for this DIY project. Stuff old clothes, like a long sleeved plaid shirt and a pair of your dad’s old jeans, with hay and tie off the ends of each piece of clothing with rubber bands. Take each hay-stuffed piece of clothing and stack it on top of one another. Then place a pumpkin with a face drawn on for the head and voila!
