A guy who talks about the future is total BF material. He wants to make memories that last beyond the summer break. Keep your ears open for phrases that start with “When we” or “We should.” These key words are signs that your lover is in for the long haul.

One of the guys

When a dude asks you to kick it with his crew, take it as a compliment! He’s obviously not afraid to show you off, plus this means that he has real feelings for you. This guy wants you to build a relationship, not just with him, but with the bros too. (Oh, and he gets bonus points if he introduces you as his girl!)

Showing interest

It’s no secret that power yoga and DIY charm bracelets aren’t exactly his thing…but if he’s willing to try them anyway, then he’s a keeper! He cares about your hobbies and wants to be apart of the things that make you happy. This totally makes him year round-worthy.

The thought that counts

If he’s serious about you, he’ll skip the cheesy burger joint and take you on a real date. But, don’t get it twisted: a real date doesn’t necessarily mean he’s dishin’ tons of duckets. It’s all about the effort he puts into it—so say, “yes” to sweet picnics and cool karaoke nights!

Meeting the parents is the ultimate long-term relationship omen! This shows that he’s looking for commitment—not just this summer, but every season. Once his fam falls head over heels for you then the deal is definitely sealed.
