1. Invite him out

Make plans to go see a movie with a group of your friends. Be sure to invite his friends and then be the one to casually text him inviting him to go. Tell him who all is already going then see what he says. Try and create a conversation after inviting him or text him after and see what he thought about the movie.

2. Take a stand

If you are in a group setting with him try to go up and talk to him. If you are listening to music say you love the song that comes on. Text him later and say you “totally forgot” what the song was and ask him if he remembers. Or bring up something you talked about when you were together and create a conversation stemming from your talk earlier. 

3. Flirty throwback

If you are trying to make your friendship go further with your crush try finding a funny quote, or a memory that reminds you of him and send it his way. Start out with “I just thought of this. Remember when…”

4. See what he is up to

Find an event going on in your town, a concert, pool party, etc. (make sure he is invited) text him and ask him if he is going, tell him you are looking forward to seeing him there!

5. Celebrate with a an excuse

With the back to school coming up, be daring and ask him what he’s doing the rest of the summer. You don’t have to invite him anywhere, but summer plans are a great excuse to text the guy you’ve been crushing on.

6. Coworker craze

If it’s a coworker you’re crushing on or someone from work, text him and ask what time your shift is. See if he is at work and can let you know what time you work and who you are working with. Then keep the conversation going. See how his day is or if work has been
