The number one thing you should never, ever put up with in a relationship
Wow, this is a pretty sticky situation you’re in, girl. I know you care about your boy, but the person who matters most in this situation is you.
Whether it’s emotional or physical, abusive relationships are not healthy or sustainable, so the first thing you need to do is break things off with your guy. After that, if your emotions are a little (or a lot) rocky it’s best to seek out help.
Being a victim of abuse is serious, so explain the situation to a guidance counselor or a parent about what happened. Then, if you’re concerned with your now ex-BF’s wellbeing, ask the adult you spoke with to help him out in dealing with the problem.
The most important thing to remember is that while this is something that happened between you and him, the entire situation is much bigger than you can manage on your own.
