Flirts with you but likes a popular girl? Here's what to do
I have a major
crush on this guy. He says that he likes the "popular girl," but he
flirts with me. He sends me mixed signals. He says that he doesn't like me, but
he acts like he does! How do I for sure tell if he likes me?
His Answer: “He probably just wants a backup option. If the
"popular girl" thing doesn't work out, he is willing settle which

Decoded: He is too focused on the other girl to realize how
great you are and he is only flirting with you so that he’ll have a fallback if
the other girl rejects him. He is not giving you a fair chance and is stringing
you along just in case.
Your Move: If this guy isn’t giving you the respect and
attention you deserve, kick him to the curb! If you aren’t quite ready to
totally cut him off yet, tell him that you don’t like feeling like a second
choice. But don’t make this guy a priority when you’re only an option to him.
