Crush got ya confused? How to tell if he really likes you
There's
this guy in my grade and he's really sweet to me. He would flirt with
me a little sometimes, and I thought he liked me. Then, I found out he
doesn't over the holidays. Now we're back in school, and he still acts
like he likes me. He's made me really confused. I don't know what to do
anymore. My friends think he's realized that he really does like me, but
I'm afraid to believe it because I don't want my heart broken again.
Please help.
Hey girl! Geeze, guys can be so frustrating sometimes. First things first, figure whether or not you like this guy. If your
answer is, "no way, not anymore," then just ignore his flirty advances. If you're sure you've moved on, then there's nothing to worry about.
However, chances are that things are a bit more complicated.
If you
think you still may have feelings for him, have a heart-to-heart with him. Find a time to talk with him when you're not
surrounded by your crew or his, and 'fess up how his signals confuse you. Ask him if he likes you or if he's just being
super friendly. But if you ask him if he likes you, be prepared to
answer the same question. This might be a tough convo to
have, especially if you're both unsure of your feelings, but this should settle it fast.
Another
path you can take is to just sit back and play the flirting game. This
gives both more time to figure out if you like each
other or not. Whatever you choose to do, keep trustworthy friends at
your side. You got this.
