My boyfriend isn’t acting as nice as
he used to, and I don’t like him anymore. I don’t know how to
break up with him and still be his friend. I don’t want him to hate
me for the rest of my life.

If he’s acting different, it’s
possible things have cooled off for him too. Consider saying, “I
think we’re better as friends than as a couple, don’t you?”
With a little tact, you can remain friendly rather than hurting each
other. If he’s really the kind of guy who would hate you forever,
he isn’t worth another minute of your energy.
