What "going on a break" really means
My boyfriend is always busy, and he
never really has a chance to hang out. He texted me saying that we
should "take a break" only because hes never free. What
does that mean? Will he ever want to get back together? I miss him.
If your boyfriend wanted to hang out
with you he would be hanging out with you. I could be wrong and he
could actually be a very busy person. But, usually when someone stops
making time for you and want to “take a break” it means he wants
to break up with you, but doesn’t want to hurt your feelings.
There are two directions your situation
could go. The first is that he really is busy and just needs some
time to take care of his responsibilities before he can indulge in
her personal life. If you think this is the case you should still
remain close with him. Chat at school or maybe send him a friendly
text every few days. Being a good friend to him will show him you
still care.
The other direction that this situation
could be going in is that he wanted to break up with you but still
finds you to be a really nice person so he didn’t want to hurt your
feelings. If this is the case you should probably keep your distance
from him for a little while, just so you have time to cope with the
break up. Once you are 100% sure you are over him you can begin to
integrate him back into your life as a friend.
Ultimately you know your boyfriend
better than any of us girl here at GL so you will need to gauge the sitch and take the steps in the direction that you think is most
realistic. Good luck, girl!
