Dear Carol: Does my BGF like me?
My best friend is a guy and everyone says he likes me. But whenever I ask him, he gets all quiet, then changes the subject. What should I do?
Dear He Likes Me, He Likes Me Not,
Stop asking him and just keep enjoying things the way they are. You don’t need to label your relationship, do you? My hunch is that he likes you, but does not want to go public with his private feelings. It’s obvious he’s not quite ready to talk about it. Forcing an issue is never a good thing, so just let it unfold naturally.
