Third time's a charm! 6 flicks we think deserve a threequel
It got us thinking: There are some other movies—and characters—that we would totally love to see live on. Remember the saying, “The third time’s a charm”? We think it might be true with these.

Camp Rock
OK, we know that the second installment of Camp Rock was technically the final jam but that doesn’t mean the jammers, dancers and campers can’t come back for a camp reunion. We would just die if we saw Demi, Nick, Kevin and Joe on stage together again, wouldn’t you?! Plus, this would certainly heal our still stinging wounds over the JoBro’s break up last October because, yeah, we’re still upset over it.

Monsters Inc.
Monsters Inc. was a huge hit and absolutely everyone we know fell in love with Monsters University last summer. We thought it was SO much fun to see Mike and Sulley in their college years—talk about a throwback! Since the second film went back in time, why not jet into the future for a third flick? The adorable Boo from the first film must be all grown up by now so we’re thinking a Boo and Sulley reunion would make for the Best. Movie. Ever.

Journey to the Center of the Earth
Our argument as to why this series should be brought back for a third movie is simple: Josh Hutcherson. The Hunger Games cutie actually starred as Sean in this film series before he was residing in Panem so we think he should take a break from baking cakes and rebelling against the Capitol to star in a third Journey movie. In the second film in the series, Sean receives a book from his grandfather that hints at another journey—this time to the moon. But even if this flick doesn’t happen, we still love ya to the moon and back, Josh.

The Princess Diaries
We all know Mia Thermopolis (or as she’s royally known: Amelia Mignonette Grimaldi Thermopolis Renaldo, Queen of Genovia) and we just adore her quirky yet down to earth attitude. That’s why we need to see her back on the silver screen. We’re absolutely dying to know how Mia is doing holding down the thrown as Queen and we would even love to see how Queen Clarisse Renaldi and Joe are doing since getting married at their impromptu ceremony.

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs
The second helping of Cloudy was so delicious, we’re going back for thirds. Well, er, we would if there actually was a third movie. The second film saw the gang battle the out of control food-making machine after it is reawakened. We would def love to see the gang get into even more shenanigans in a Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 3 someday.

Valentines Day & New Years Eve
We got a double dose of Taylor (Swift and Lautner) when Valentine’s Day was released in 2010. Then things got even better in 2011 with New Year’s Eve starring Lea Michele, Zac Efron and Abigail Breslin, among tons of other stars. We think some other holidays deserve some love too though. How about Thanksgiving? Or maybe even the 4th of July? Yea, we could see some major fireworks occurring with an Independence Day flick.
