Taylor Swift, One Direction and loads more set for MTV's VMAs


Get excited! The 2012 MTV Video Music Awards are just around the corner. Make sure to tune in this Thursday, Sept. 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT for all the fun. And which hip faces are we set to see?
Well, for starters, Taylor Swift will be performing at the VMAs for her third time, set to hit the stage with brand new songs from her new album Red, which lands in stores Oct. 22.

The country darling will be sharing the night with none other than our fave boy group from across the pond, One Direction, who will not only be performing, but might even stroll home with two awards! It’s gonna be be tough, though, considering the cuties will be battling it out with top talents like Justin Bieber, Fun., Maroon 5 and The Wanted.

More stars like Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson, Rihanna and Lil Wayne are also set to make a dashing appearance. And we’re hoping for wins from Demi Lovato, Carly Rae Jepsen, Selena Gomez and more. Best Video with a Message, Video of the Year, Best New Artist, Best Pop, Hip Hop, Rock, Electronic Dance, Male and Female videos are all up for grabs! Who do you hope scores big?
