Got a bad case of greasy locks? Here's how to DIY your very own cornstarch dry shampoo...

By now, you've probably discovered the miracles dry shampoo can do—and you've also probably already figured out which brand works best for your hair color and texture. But did ya know you could make the stuff with items straight from your kitchen? From cornstartch to cocoa, we've got a few super-easy (and supercheap) recipes for the ultimate DIY dry shampoo. So get ready to ditch those expensive products and DIY your own. Your life will be forever changed.

Brunettes = Mix Cornstarch + Cocoa Powder

If you have darker hair, mix 1/2 a cup of unsweetened cocoa powder with 1/2 a cup of cornstarch and sprinkle it on your roots or wherever you see a little grease. Then, let it sit for a few minutes and pat it a few times to allow excess powder to spread even. Finally, do a little hair flip and you are set!

Redheads = Mix Cornstarch + Cinnamon

If you're a redhead, use cinnamon with cornstarch equally (1/2 a cup of each). Pat these ingredients into your vibrant locks and get ready to walk those hallways with lively lookin' hair. Your friends will wonder how you pulled that all nighter studying and still managed to look so fab.

Blondes = Mix Cornstarch + Essential Oil

If you have light colored hair, mix 1/2 a cup of cornstarch with a teaspoon of an essential oil of your choice for fragrance. Blondes usually are easier to see when their hair is greasy so this cool DIY should be on top of your to do list. Another added bonus: The oils in this mixture will give you a healthy shine (minus the grease we all dread so much).
