We tried these holiday drinks so you don't have to
Winter has arrived! Time to throw on your coziest sweater or most stylish pair of boots, put your fave winter playlist on repeat and head out to grab a holiday-themed drink. Let's face it: when Starbucks brings out those red cups, you know that it is *officially* the season. No matter where you go, you won't have to spend too long deciding which drink to get! We've rounded some up, and we're giving you all the deets on these festive treats.
Starbucks:
Peppermint Mocha
The Peppermint Mocha is probably my fave Starbucks holiday drink. Peppermint is such an iconic winter flavor—it truly never gets old. The cool, refreshing mint and the warm, comforting chocolate make for the *perfect* combination! While the peppermint mocha is usually served as a hot pick-me-up on a chilly day, you can also get it as a frappuccino, if that's more your style. I would def recommend either one! It's truly a season staple.
Caramel Brulee Frappuccino
If you like your winter drinks a little cooler, then this is the one for you! This is a festive take on the classic we all know and love, the Caramel Frappuccino. Its caramel and toffee flavors are *exactly* what you need to satisfy your sweet tooth! IMO, you can never go wrong with a caramel-themed dessert, and this drink totally fits the bill. Of course, it's also offered as a latte, if you're not a fan of the cold.
Toasted White Chocolate Mocha
Who doesn't love a good s'more? If you do (duh!), then you *need* to try the Toasted White Chocolate Mocha! It's like a fluffy, toasted marshmallow in drink form. It has a delicious caramelized white chocolate flavor, with an added, holiday-themed crunch of candied sugar sparkles on top of the whipped cream! This cozy drink will make you feel like you're sitting in front of a campfire with all of your besties.
Shake Shack:
Chocolate Milk and Cookies Shake
This shake is a cookie lover's dream! It mixes chocolate cookies with malted chocolate frozen custard to create a truly delightful holiday treat. Add some cookie crumbles to the whipped cream topping, and you get the perfect festive milkshake. Chocoholics, do *not* miss trying this one out—it's honestly amazing.
Christmas Cookie Shake
Prefer your desserts without chocolate? No problem! This Shake Shack fan fave is exactly what you need. It includes a sugar-cookie-flavored frozen custard, along with *both* whipped cream and holiday sprinkles on top. Yum! Plus, if you're like me and *love* sugar cookies, you'll totally want to add this shake to your order.
Sugar Plum Fairy Shake
Okay, so this might be the most aesthetically pleasing shake I've ever seen. Luckily, what's on the inside is just as great! The dreamy Sugar Plum Fairy shake features a blend of raspberry jam Linzer cookies and vanilla custard. Top it off with some whipped cream and pastel-colored white chocolate unicorn bark, and you have a winter drink so fabulous that the Sugar Plum Fairy herself would be jealous. If you want a delicious drink that's also Insta-worthy, go for this one!
Dunkin' Donuts:
White Mocha Hot Chocolate
Not a coffee lover? Too cold for a milkshake? Look no further for your perf holiday-themed drink! Dunkin' Donuts is bringing back a holiday classic—with a twist. It's the hot chocolate you know and love, with some flavorful notes of white chocolate. Sip on this to make the snowy szn extra sweet!
