A talent competition exclusively for kids and tweens!
Make Your Mark: Ultimate Dance Off - Shake It Up Edition, Disney Channel’s first-ever talent competition for kids and tweens, premieres tonight, Oct. 14, at 8:30 pm ET/PT.
After nearly 30,000 dance videos were submitted, six talented finalists between the ages of 10 and 16 were chosen to dance in front of celebrity judges Selena Gomez, Sean Kingston and Shake It Up choreographer Rosero McCoy—as well as millions of home viewers like you—to compete for the chance to win a “Spotlight Dance” on Shake It Up.
The competition is hosted by Jessie star Debby Ryan and Shake It Up stars Roshon Fagan and R. Brandon Johnson. Bella Thorne and Zendaya from Shake It Up will be making guest appearances, too!
The six finalists will compete on air tonight for your votes by dancing to routines choreographed by those who have worked with the likes of Katy Perry, the Black Eyed Peas, Janet Jackson, Ne-Yo, Jason DeRulo and Joe Jonas. Cool, right? And those stars are also set to make an appearance during the show with pre-taped spots that provide encouragement to the competitors.
So, how does it work? For a brief time after the show, it’s your job to sign online or text DISNEY (347639) up to five times each to vote for your favorite dancer. The winning dancer or dance team will then be revealed Sunday, Oct. 16, during a results show with a special performance by A.N.T. Farm’s China Anne McClain.
