The biggest OMG moments of the week: GMW, Bey, Ed and more!

The first week of the New Year has passed and boy has it been busy! Here are some things that you need to know about ASAP:

So long GMW!

The beloved spinoff of ABC's hugely popular 90s sitcom, Boy Meets World, will officially come to a sad end after its third season. Cue the tears! The cancellation of Girl Meets World was announced in a statement from Disney Channel and was confirmed by Girl Meets Writers via Twitter on Jan. 4. Along with the writers, several cast and crew members also took to social media to post their farewells, including Rowan Blanchard, who responded with a long and heartfelt Instagram message expressing how much the show impacted her. Many loyal fans are probably wondering: why? It was likely due to the startling decrease in viewers—the audience shrank from a whopping 5 million for the series premiere to an average of 1.5 million in its third season, according to Forbes. On a more positive note, the show will definitely be going out with a bang! In its season finale, airing on Jan. 20, nearly the entire cast of Boy Meets World will appear to help Riley make an important decision.

Guess who the youngest 30 Under 30 music list member is?

Voice behind "Sit Still, Look Pretty" and our February/March cover girl, Daya, made it on Forbes's sixth-annual 30 Under 30 list for 2017! Mega props to the Grammy-nominated 18-year-old. She is one of the youngest music list members, an achievement nothing short of remarkable. The list was created to showcase the achievements of youth, aka the "game changers" of their generation, and the competition is downright tough. The singer hangs alongside Alessia Cara, Kelsea Ballerini and Troye Sivan on the list, so clearly Daya's in good company. We can't wait to see what she'll accomplish next!

Teddy is back!

If you've been tirelessly hoping for Ed Sheeran to release some new tracks, then now's the time to do a little victory dance. As his loyal fans already know, since December of 2015 the two-time Grammy winner announced that he'd be taking a break from music to travel. Now, he's back and better than ever! To mark his return to music, yesterday Ed released not one but two tracks via Twitter, named "Castle on the Hill" and "Shape of You." The songs are apart of his upcoming album, ÷ (Divide), meaning that he's obvi sticking with the whole math theme.

Bey slays

To top off this week's OMG moments, on Jan. 3. Coachella announced its 2017 lineup—and guess who's headlining? Yes, the one and only, Beyoncé. Apart from the fantastic news that Queen Bey will be playing at the popular Cali-based music festival, she is also making Coachella history. According to Huffington Post, she has become one of the first solo female artists to headline Coachella in the last decade and the first African-American woman to headline the festival. Coming off her most critically acclaimed album, Lemonade, Bey is most definitely a primary reason for why bookings for the fest have remained *seriously* impressive.
