Olivia Rodrigo just released her second single from GUTS
Olivia Rodrigo's new song "bad idea right?" is *everything*. As the second single from her sophomore album GUTS, Liv has done it again with a bop-worthy beat, relatable lyrics and top-notch music video.

Earlier this week, Olivia teased that she would be releasing a second single titled "bad idea right?" with a music video. The cover art for the song showed Liv in front of a mirror, with the title written in red lipstick surrounded by kiss prints. She also teased a snippet of the song prior to its announcement when she released the tracklist for GUTS.
Music video
The accompanying music video was released at midnight EST on Friday, Aug. 11. The vid featured her BFFs Madison Hu, Iris Apatow and fellow singer Tate McRae. It was directed by her friend Petra Collins, who also directed other music vids for Liv, like "good 4 u" and "brutal." The hazy, '90s-esque vibes are everything.
The song
This new song is totally different from any song Liv has released previously. It's reminiscent of her signature punk-pop style, but Olivia takes it to a whole new level with spoken lyrics and synthy production. It's playful and different—and we totally dig it. We love a good pop anthem about making bad decisions! (However, this song is most definitely a good one.)
