Fourth Harmony? Camila Cabello parts ways with 5H

Getting that déjà vu feeling? You're not alone. It seems like just yesterday we were mourning Zayn's departure from One Direction. Now, we're teary-eyed over another X Factor group: Fifth Harmony.

The girl-power five-some announced via Twitter late last night that Camila Cabello is parting ways with the group. The announcement, signed by the four remaining members, Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane and Lauren Jauregui, reads: "After 4 and a half years of being together, we have been informed via her representatives that Camila has decided to leave Fifth Harmony." The shocking news was released just after a concert in Lauren's hometown, Miami, Fla., which (as of right now) seems that it will be Camila's last ever performance with the group. Check out the entire note below:

Camila herself (as opposed to her representatives) has yet to comment on the shocking news. It was clear that she enjoyed working on solo projects outside of the group—like her 2015 hit with Shawn Mendes, "I Know What You Did Last Summer," and her current Billboard smash with Machine Gun Kelly, "Bad Things"—but this still comes as a huge surprise to us.

Despite losing the immensely-talented Camila, we're happy that the other ladies of 5H have decided to continue on making music together. In this post-Camila era of 5H, we can't wait to see what direction the ladies take moving forward.

UPDATE: Late Monday afternoon, Camila broke her silence and posted the below lengthy statement on her Twitter.

What do you make of Camila leaving Fifth Harmony? Did this come as a surprise to you? Sound off below!
