Raini Rodriguez is directing an episode of Austin & Ally

 

In addition to Trish, actress Raini Rodriguez is taking on a new Austin & Ally role: director. That's right, she's not only going to be playing one of the characters in the show, she's also going to be running it.

The star shared the news on her Instagram, captioning a pic with, "Let's do this 🎥 #woooo." The creators of the show also told fans, tweeting, "Always exciting to be working with an awesome new up and coming director! #soproud."

Raini's not the first Disney star – or even the first Austin & Ally star – to direct an episode of their own show, but we know she's absolutely going to kill it. Not only is she super talented, she's also completely hilarious. We can't wait to see how the episode turns out, because we know it's going to be amazing.
