Invisible Girl

I arrive at school on an average day,
My friends are all talking,
I'll go and say, "Hey,"
But they ignore me like I'm not there.

I'm kind of in,
But really not,
Don't I get a say,
In what's hot?

Am I invisible?
Am I not really here?
Am I invisible?
Is that why my friends don't hear?

Everyone's talking,
I'm sitting alone.
Everyone's laughing,
It's not like I'm at home.

I wanna be there,
Be heard & be seen,
I wanna be there,
Right in between.

But I'll always remain,
Invisible girl,
Because that's just the way,
It is in my world.
