What time should you *really* take a shower?

Deciding when to take a shower is one of those weirdly difficult decisions. At the end of the day, you're too tired...but a hot shower can help you relax. And in the morning, you're too tired...but a shower can help you wake up. As it turns out, though, different people should take showers at different times during the day. Read on to find what time is perfect for you...

You should take a shower in the morning if...

You have oily skin.

Oil can build up overnight, so morning showers are great for cleaning your pores and keeping you breakout-free.

You like waking up early.

If you're up before your alarm clock on the daily, early morning showers are perfect for you.

You love the indoors.

If you come home from school, do your homework, peep Pinterest for DIY projects and snuggle up to Netflix, you don't have to worry about going to bed full of pollen and other outdoorsy grime.

You should take a shower at night if...

You wear make-up.

Face wipes don't tend to tackle all your makeup, and washing your face isn't ideal either. Warm showers open your pores, allowing for a deeper clean.

You have dry skin.

If you're prone to dry spots, washing with a cleanser in the morning isn’t such a great idea. Cleansing can strip your skin of natural oils, and washing at night lets your skin rejuvenate while you sleep.

Your hair takes FOREVER to dry.

For majorly-maned ladies, showering at night can give your hair more time to dry and cut your blow-drying time in half come morning.

When do you take your showers? What works best for you? Let us know!
