Never been kissed: Why am I the odd girl out?


 
I'm 13 and never been kissed. I'm not even scared of it! But everyone (and I do mean EVERYONE) at my school has already. Why am I the odd girl out?
 
Trust me--your sitch does not make you odd at all, because it’s actually a very common one. Everyone’s different and gains their experiences with boys at different paces. So even if it seems like everyone else has secured a smooch, that isn’t at all the case, and that shouldn’t add pressure on you. Plus, credit goes out to you girl for not even being nervous! You should be proud of this and proud that you’re waiting for the right guy and time instead of spoiling that moment just because you wanna get it over with.
 
In all honesty hun, I felt the same way you did...and I didn’t even have my first kiss until I was 15! But the reality was that even though I felt like everyone else had been kissed, it just wasn’t true. There were a ton of girls in my grade stuck in my same situation but we were all too shy to talk about it. I’m sure that’s why it may seem like everyone else has had that experience, when really there are a bunch of girls your age who haven’t. So don’t let it get you down! Just be yourself, remain optimistic and set a goal to spark up a conversation with your crush the next time you see him to give that moment the kicks-start you want.

My friend is a junior, turning 17 in a few weeks, and she's never been kissed. Really, it's not a big deal.

What things can be done to get a guy become interested in kissing? And when it comes to making the first move do you think guys would be more offended or embarrassed about if they didn't get things going?




Hey girl, I don't think a guy would be offended by not making the first move. As for making him interested, it helps if he's interested in you first. If he's your BF, go for it or hint you're interested. That may be all the push he needs to go for it.
